The mission of the classified staff of the College of Education at The University of Arizona is to provide a vital connecting link with College faculty and administrators to facilitate the success of our students in their educational and career aspirations. We accomplish this by creating a nurturing and collaborative environment within which we are committed to excellence in support and service to students, faculty, administrators, and support staff and through which we serve as a skilled and effective resource to the campus and the educational community at large.
- To contribute to the mission of The University of Arizona and the College of Education and its students and faculty by providing a strong knowledgeable support system and essential support services and increasing our awareness of programs throughout the College, the University, and the educational communities served.
- To increase our knowledge of the cultural and linguistic diversity of our faculty, staff, and students and to foster a diverse environment and culture that support all members of the College community.
- To encourage, support, and enhance professional development and career progression for staff by participation in educational and scholarly activities.
- To maintain a strong staff governance structure through the College Staff Advisory Council.
