Understanding the Deaf Experience 

Did you know that Deaf people have culture and language?  Join Lisa Furr to learn some facts about Deaf people. Lisa Furr, who is a native deaf person, will share her personal experience. She will share communication tips and etiquette when you interact with deaf people. Also, Lisa will educate you about how to use sign language interpreters. This is a safe zone for participants to learn and ask questions about best practices when meeting deaf people in the workplace or in a public place.
