Planning and Writing Successful NSF Proposals

Back by popular demand and by request from the UArizona research community, Research Development Services (RDS), a unit of Research, Innovation & Impact (RII), is hosting the AtKisson Training Group for an NSF Workshop! The NSF Proposals Workshop is a four-part series held during the first two weeks of October from 1:00 - 3:00p MST. This multi-part series covers broad-based training on the National Science Foundation (NSF) and will cover grant writing to all NSF Directorates including: Biological Sciences, Computer and Information Science and Engineering, Engineering, Geosciences, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences, and Education and Human Resources. The sessions will focus on elements of a successful grant application, tools needed to assemble the application, and common mistakes & how to avoid them. While the event is free for UArizona Faculty and Postdocs, seats are limited and registration is required. In addition, attendance is required at all four sessions.
