Early Childhood Education: Transfers

PROGRAM LENGTH: Two years (typically 4 regular semesters of full-time attendance) beginning in August only

WHEN TO APPLY: By second Friday in February (see Step 3); late applications typically accepted in May

ADMISSIONS: Selective; students must provide documentation (see Step 3)

CLASS SCHEDULE: Classes meet weekly in-person Monday-Thursday (daytime). This includes practicum in local classrooms during regular school hours in all 4 semesters, including student teaching in early learning center in spring of junior year, and student teaching in K-3 setting in spring of senior year

DEGREE OFFERED: Bachelor of Arts in Education, Early Childhood Education

CERTIFICATION: After passing the AEPA Professional Knowledge exam for Early Childhood, program graduates will earn certification to teach pre-kindergarten through grade 3 in the state of Arizona. Visit the Certification Map website to learn more about reciprocity in another U.S. state
