Who should apply?
Undergraduate students who are interested in working with students with mild to moderate disabilities in the areas of learning disabilities, mental retardation, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
What is included in the program?
Three semesters of coursework, one semester supervised internship designed to prepare special education teachers to teach students with mild to moderate disabilities in K-12 settings.
What grade level will you be teaching?
K-12.
What is the completion timeframe?
4 years with full-time course load. This includes two years of general education, two years of professional program, and one semester of supervised internship.
