The University of Arizona College of Education
Undergraduate students are assigned to an advisor according to their program of study. Advising by major allows us to best serve all of our students, and will allow stronger relationships between students, advisors, program directors, and faculty in each program. Also this enables advisors to have a deeper knowledge of their majors, which will be a huge benefit to students. Students are urged to see their advisor a minimum of once per semester. Our philosophy is that we want to work with students in an on-going and pro-active manner rather than intermittently and only when problems arise.
Undergraduates who intend to pursue Teach Arizona should see Letty Molina-Gutierrez. Potential applicants to Teach Arizona who already have earned a bachelor's degree should see the graduate coordinator in Teaching, Learning and Sociocultural Studies (room 702, 520-621-7820) .
