Undergraduate Student Admissions
Applications for admission to our professional preparation programs are accepted on the second Friday of February. You MUST meet with a COE academic advisor prior to submitting your application. If you missed the deadline, please contact an academic advisor to discuss your options.
Students are assigned to an advisor according to their program of interest. Advisor assignments are available here. You can use your advisor's appointment link to schedule a meeting, or call our office at 520-621-7865 for assistance.
Admission to the professional preparation programs include: a minimum GPA of 2.5 (3.0 preferred), documented experience with school-aged children (for teacher certification only), professional references, an essay, a possible interview, and Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance. More details can be found here. If you have already met with an advisor and have confirmed that you are eligible to apply and that it is the proper timeframe to do so, please click here to fill out your application.
We encourage you to sign up for our pre-education listserv, where you will get important messages about our admissions process as well as about involvement opportunities with children. To sign up for the listserv, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
