PROGRAM LENGTH: Two years (typically 4 regular semesters of full-time attendance) beginning in August only

WHEN TO APPLY: By second Friday in February (see Step 3); late applications typically accepted in May

ADMISSIONS: Selective; students must provide documentation (see Step 3)

CLASS SCHEDULE: Classes meet weekly in-person Monday-Thursday (daytime). This includes practicum in local bilingual and/or dual-language classrooms during regular school hours for all 4 semesters, culminating in student teaching in K-8 setting in the spring semester of senior year

DEGREE OFFERED: Bachelor of Arts in Education, Elementary Education;

CERTIFICATION: After passing the AEPA Professional Knowledge exam for Elementary Education, program graduates will earn certification to teach kindergarten through grade 8 in the state of Arizona. To earn bilingual endorsement, program graduates must pass the Arizona Classroom Teacher Spanish Proficiency Exam.
