Student Handbook: This Handbook is intended to familiarize students with the M.A. Degree in Counseling at The University of Arizona and serve as a primary source of information for students enrolled in the program. While it is not intended to take the place of direct contact with faculty and staff, the Handbook should be reviewed prior to seeking program-related information from them. Students are strongly encouraged to regularly interact with faculty, staff, and other students as they progress through their degree program.
Clinical Practice Manual: Practicum and Internship experiences are expected to be consistent with the scholar-practitioner orientation of the Counseling Program. All field experiences are consistent with the established ethical standards and accreditation guidelines of the American School Counseling Association (ASCA); (CACREP) and by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE). Refer to the Field Experience Handbook for a complete list of requirements, goals and objectives.
