Literacy, Learning, and Leadership Internships
Step 1: Find a host organization that is willing to host you in an internship experience. Look for internship experiences that will support your long-term career goals. Some examples of host organizations are below. When you interview with a host agency, make sure you are courteous and dressed for success.
Step 2: Once accepted to intern, complete this Letter of Invitation/Risk and Release Form with the person who agrees to be your internship supervisor. Scan and email a copy of this form to COE-LLLinternship@email.arizona.edu.
Step 3: Complete this online APPLICATION. Note: this form will need to be submitted every semester a student wants to receive internship credit.
Step 4: If you are planning to intern with minors and/or vulnerable adults, you MUST obtain a fingerprint clearance card. If you do not have a valid fingerprint card, go to the following website to get your fingerprint card from the online fingerprint service: http://fieldprintarizona.com/. Once you receive your fingerprint card, scan and email a copy of your card to COE-LLLinternship@email.arizona.edu.
Step 5: Once these steps are successfully submitted, your advisor will be notified to register you for academic credit.
