Scholarships

Through the charitable support of donors, friends, and the Arizona community, the College of Education is able to award scholarships to its undergraduate, postbaccalaureate and graduate students. Many of our scholarships are established by donors who advocate for education and have established criteria for a student to be selected as a scholarship recipient.

If you wish to donate to a scholarship, you will find all you need in our Giving section.

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please read the information below before submitting an application.

Scholarships are awarded in two categories:

Merit-based — to attract and retain students of exceptional academic quality
Need-based — for students who demonstrate great financial need (FAFSA required)

For additional information on the FAFSA and deadlines, please contact the UA Office of Student Financial Aid.

Eligibility

The scholarship process is highly competitive and is limited to students who have been admitted into a College of Education program. Students from other colleges are not eligible. A student may meet all scholarship criteria and still not receive a scholarship due to the number of competitive applications received.

Students only need to complete one COE online application to be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible. Students who wish to be considered for need-based scholarships must also complete the FAFSA (Free Application of Federal Student Aid). The online scholarship application covers the full upcoming academic year, with the exception of a few special College of Education summer academic programs. Students must renew their application each academic year. Review the scholarship summary and learn more about the types of College of Education scholarships available.
