Rachel Barton has been employed in the College of Education Office of the Dean since 1990. She is the administrative associate to Dean Ronald Marx and Associate Dean Renee Clift.  Rachel handles the calendars for both Dean Marx and Associate Dean Clift.  She provides advanced administrative support, e.g., assists the Dean and Associate Dean in their business affairs including the management of their activities and interactions. She coordinates general administrative functions by monitoring budgets, coordinating the work schedules of other employees and student workers, and maintaining communications for Dean Marx and Associate Dean Clift with University administrators; College and University personnel; and international, national, and state professional educational associations. She responds to requests for information from teachers, superintendents, University personnel, and the general public.
