Shirin Antia is a professor of special education, and coordinates the program to prepare teachers of deaf and hard of hearing children. She is an Erasmus Fellow in the College of Education. She is also an associate editor of the Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education – the premier international research journal in the area of deafness.
