Current Research

Dr. Kreimeyer’s research addresses the integration and inclusion of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within public school programs and the practices that promote full inclusion. She has developed interventions to examine peer social interaction between DHH children and their hearing peers, and has examined the academic achievement and progress, as well as the social skills of DHH students in general education classrooms. She is currently working on assessments and interventions that can be conducted by teachers of DHH to best support these students in the general education classroom.
