OUTREACH
- Consultation activities:
- Arranged for and supervised four M. Ed. students who consulted with the International School of Tucson (Robert Young, Head of School) regarding students about whom teachers were concerned. In the absence of a school counselor, the M. Ed. students conducted classroom observations, consulted with teachers and parents, and wrote a report with their recommendations.
- Participated in the College Knowledge for School Teams project in the College of Education, May 2008 to May 2009. Arranged for M. Ed. students to participate in the project.
- Bauman, S. (2008, September – November). Developed survey for Teen Forum event for the Metropolitan Education Commission. Supervised data entry, data analysis, and report preparation by M. Ed. student.
- Consulted with Arizona Department of Education (Kathy Rice) regarding selection of items for the 2009 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (CDC) for Arizona.
